Outdoor Renovations was established in 1988 by Rick and Marie Jacobson. We began as a two man operation with 15 years of previous experience in excavating and grew quickly. We now have 4 full time employees and 22 seasonal employees. Matt Hoen joined the company in 1999 with a degree in landscape architecture and horticulture. We now can offer a complete landscape package to our customers. We specialize in paving stone walkways, patios, and driveways, retaining walls, irrigation systems, lakeshore rip rap, drainage solutions, design work, planting, edging, black dirt, class 5 gravel, sand, decorative rock, and mulch. In the winter months we offer commercial snow removal.

The garden center was established in 2000. It is an excellent source for a large variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, and has a wonderful selection of unusual herbs, vegetables, and bedding plants. We pride ourselves in carrying the healthiest and most popular varieties of fruit trees, raspberries, and all the classic garden items. We carry garden fountains and urns that will be passed from one generation to the next. The pieces are cast in stone and vary in sizes and colors. We are here to assist with planning and choosing everything you will need. Our gift shop has beautiful and inspiring gardening books, birding supplies, garden seeds, children’s garden section, and all the tools to help you do it right. We have all the decor and plants to transform your gardens into beautiful masterpieces.
